Was throwing 6″ Bull Shads 15 years ago. Very effective an underappreciated swimbait. Can’t go wrong with plastics regardless of what it is or who makes it. Bunch of marketing to separate yet no separation exists. Nice haul.

Had that bullshad, action was great and I thought the price was fair. Im curious to know how those XPS whopper ploppers work for you, I bought a berkley one and it was awful. Id recommend upgrading next go around to the chatterbait evo by zman (10$), I feel like it performs much better and catches more fish just due to the fact it chatters as soon as you start reeling. Nice haul!

Looks really solid. I personally like a walking topwater more than a whopper plopper, but that’s me. Add a squarebill crank and a ned rig and you’ve got everything you could need.

Good haul. Don’t expect those Bandito Bugs to last you more than a trip or two though. They just don’t hold up unfortunately.
