In my 60 litre, I have 5 Peppered Corys, 12 Black Neons and a Clown Pleco L104, I’ve been wanting to get a centre piece fish for a while and wondered if a female fighter would suit the tank.
I work at an aquarium shop and they’ve just had a big delivery of fighters and some of them are beautiful, I was planning on getting a short finned one.

I suggest not putting bettas with other fish. they better are kept alone, it’s much safer and way less stress for them
it heavily depends on the fish though, some are fine with tank mates, others aren’t… be prepared to separate them if necessary. with my betta it switched up in days! at first he was totally fine with his cory tank mates and then over the next few days he bit his own fins apart and started attacking them and chasing them through the whole tank.
If you’re going for female betta go for 4-6 to make sorority tank
