Recently I noticed a tear(?) in my betta fishes caudal fin. I’m not sure if he snagged it on something(all his plants are silk tho). His fins were pretty damaged when I got him and they’ve grown out now so im wondering if maybe it’s just a previous damaged spot that’s having trouble healing? I just need options on what it looks like and how I should treat it please. The first 2 pictures are it now, the third one is a month after I got him and the fourth one is a day after I got him

Ok I’m gonna answer this for a little more context but I’m currently out of water testers
• Tank size: 5 gal
• Heater and filter? (yes/no): yes
• Tank temperature: 80
• How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: about 3 months
• How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? What is your process?: I change it 1-2 times a week and clean the tank decorations every other week. I usually do 25%-50% water changes
• Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: no
• What do you feed and how much: Betta pellets and 2-3 twice a day
• Decorations and plants in the tank: Silk plants, a mug, and a log to hide in
