This is the Allegheny in PA. Lots of rain lately has made the river rise into to the banks and trees. Would fish move here for the feeding and cover? Depths is anywhere from 6” to 3’.

What would you fish here for?

For sure some will. But catching them in all those snags is gonna be tough. Way too easy to get broken off. If I was going to fish floodwaters, I’d use a texas rigged stickbait and try to fish grassy areas rather than too close to the saplings.

If you can get out past those bushes and trees then it probably will be fine but otherwise you’re gonna spend more time getting your line out of branches than fishing

It’s the most fun when they are. If from shore, even for multi specie, I love a good Texas rig with heavy line & very snag proof hooking.

Fish that eat in murky water, don’t let go bc it’s hard to find their next meal.

I would say yes but it looks cold, so I will say yes IF the water is warm enough for fish to be active
