Can I bring this ultralight travel set up with me on the plane
It's a 8+1 ultralight travel rod with a 1000 series shallow spool reel and about 5 travel tackle boxes

Sometimes airlines get weird about fishing line.
You can tape over the spool so it’s “secured” and they are usually okay with it.
Otherwise just put the reel in your checked luggage

I bring a 3 pc 6’ medium ugly stick and 2 spinning reels, and a tackle box in my carry on often. No issues. They do not like bullet weights in the carry on for obvious reasons.
