I went out trout fishing yesterday for the first time this season and had a great day. It started off raining but cleared up and got beautiful out. Landed 4 good trout weighing 2.5 lbs, 4.2, 5.8 and 8.9lb. I botched the net job on another 4+ and 6+ lb fish. I fish alone a lot and it can hard to net big fish alone. And I broke off another fish that was big. After looking at some of my leaders they need to be retied before this next trout and Kokanee season starts for me. So that’s what I am doing this afternoon.
