This is Georgie, he is a delta tail male and I assume on the older side because of his scales. I also know he has some poor genetics.
George is in a 20 gallon planted, filtered, and heated tank. I have a bubbler and working on getting more resting spots other than the plants and roots.
He eats fluval bug bites but goes nuts for only imagitarium brand freeze dried blood worms.
I’d also like to start feeding life and or frozen blood worms and daphnia so if anyone has good recommendations those would be great too!

Forgot to add, I’ve been feeding him about 4 pellets a day, sometimes I sneak in a blood worm before I go to bed. And other days he gets a few blood worms spread out across the tank because he enjoys hunting them
I do something similar. I know I overfeed. A few pellets, maybe a bloodworm or two, swap out pellets for flakes some days. Hold food a day if mine looks a little bloated…
