I got Uncle Sam last July and he’s been living in a bowl (as I learned decades ago). I got him a 4.5 gallon tank, cycled it. Added ghost shrimp and MTS and kept cycling for a few weeks.
I added Uncle Sam to his new home yesterday morning. Today I only see one snail, hiding. I think Sam ate the snails and possibly the shrimp too. I’ve seen one of the five shrimp since I added Sam, there were possibly two dozen MTS of various sizes.
Two questions for the community:

Is there any other fauna I can use as cleanup crew here?

I’m seriously considering changing Sam’s name to AssasSam. What do you think? Any suggestions??

Yes change his name. Mmh I’ve heard the little sucker fish are fine.. but I’m not willing to risk it.
Upvoting the name change. I had a goldfish once that killed anything in the tank and stuffed it under a rock. Same rock every time. He became a huge, old, lonely bachelor fish since I wasn’t sacrificing anything else to his murderous tendencies…
