This aquarium is 200l (55gal) and i want to know if there's a better way to change the layout of the hardscape or is it fine the way it currently is, just more plants needed if so what plants? I am open to adding more low tech plants, many getting one more piece if drift wood, or moving around the current ones i have. Will be adding my sand as its quite thin in some places.
I want a lush , green happy community tank

Stock:
1 platinum gourami
1 pearl gourami
8 neon tetras
8 dwarf neon rainbow fish
4 columbian tetras
1 ancistrus
2 german blue rams(2-3 cm)
2 angelfish(3cm)

Any advice is much appreciated

  1. Very pretty! Maybe some larger leaf plant in the more empty spots, like a anubias or some cryptocoryne would look pretty along with a little bush of stem plants like Hornwort in a corner or so!! It s still gorgeous as it is tho, natural placement

And with that amazing driftwood maybe you can add some moss on the top of some of the branches, make it look like a little tree

Also, no expert but shouldn’t the lucky bamboo have its leaves above water (so I heard)?

  2. The tank looks good to be! The plants will fill in more over time. I really recommend Limnophilia Sessiliflora. Grows super quick and you can cut off the tops and replant it when it gets too tall, allowing for lusher growth. Just make sure you have a fertiliser or some root tabs since the sand won’t offer any nutrition for it.
