Does this seem too stiff and noisy for a brand new reel just greased and oiled?
This was my first time greasing and oiling a reel by myself. Does this seem fine??

Probably used the wrong grease. If you used nlgi2 which is thicker for cars etc then it won’t be as smooth as it should be. You also have to be careful to only grease and oil the parts that need it. Did you grease and oil a brand new reel? Why?
