No wonder he won't stop bitting his own ass. He's always so angry. Angry about his own face, angry because I put a chair next to his tank, angry because his water is moving just a little bit. I literally spilled his food today, because he decided to act erratic and jump at me.
I spend most of the time worrying about him, because he's acting weird and every single time it turns out that he's just mad about something 🙄
I swear to god, if there was someone who knew how to stop him from destroying himself, I would give him away in a heartbeat. But nope, we're stuck together 😝

Ok so what I did for my guy who was a butthead he flared at everything !!! The freakin airstone the filter his reflection everything. What I did was make my background black . Added floating plants so he felt more comfortable. Added api stress coat plus. And would make sure I did dim lights for a couple hours then a higher light for a couple hours until he got used to having more light but once I added floating plants that helped a lot. I slowly introduced him to being fed with tweezers at first he would attack them but then quickly learned that he would get fed by them. I did this so he would get used to being in contact with other things. Then I added a couple snails 🐌 to do the same thing. At first he would flare at them but once he realized there not a treat he was fine . Also lighting in your room is important if your room light is darker than the tank light or the tank light is brighter than the room light they see there reflection really bad . So fixing that also helped.
