I just got the daiwa tautla ct 100 reel and went fishing with it and it didn’t seem to cast far I have the breaking at zero and the spool tension knob so far back that it almost fell off and still feel like I’m not casting super far is there something I can do?

What power is that rod? How heavy is that spinner bait? What strength and type of line?
I hated the Tatula 100. Got told you have to get the 200 to get far casts. Went back to my brand I wouldn’t say no to a zillion or steez though.
