Over the past year I’ve really enjoyed learning the sport and catching bass. My son really enjoys it as well. As he gets older it often feels like he has less time to spend with me as he is more involved with sports, friends, and school, but bass fishing brings the two of us together.
Tonight, we caught a bunch of fish, and as the night started to slowly wind down, I took some time to take in what a special moment this was, and how grateful I am for the opportunity to spend such quality time with him. In this moment there wasn’t a place in the world I’d rather be or a person I’d rather spend it with.
