Shimano makes great reels and starting with the spinning reel like you have shown is a good idea. I have both 2500 and 4000 series Shimanos and have used both on medium 7′ and medium Heavy 7′ rods, so I think your idea of 3000 is kind of a good middle ground. I don’t know what species you’re targeting out there in Sweden (I mostly fish for bass), but it’s best to have an idea of what you want to fish and the proper tackle. For all around, 3000 reel and a 7′ spinning rod seems like a great start.

Jag har en w3 ultrastick som också kastar upp till 40g och den fungerar utmärkt till abborr fiske skulle säga att den är något överklassad, skulle nog inte kasta saker som är på 40 gränsen då det är alldeles för mjukt.
3000 är en helt okej mellanting är samma storlek som en 2500 bara lite mer plats på spolen, lina 0.18 är riktigt grov flät speciellt jbraiden kör kanske 0.16 eller 0.13 om du riktar fisket mer mot abborre än gädda

Pretty decent combo, if anything scale the rod down a bit if you’re doing allround fishing. Reel is pretty perfect, line can be thinner but will work, rod is fine for pike but on the heavy side to have fun with perch. I assume you’re not really hunting for the big big pike.
The Zander below was caught on a 2-8g trout rod with a 1000 series reel. Just to illustrate that you really don’t need a lot to make it happen, although it would’ve been more ethical to have had a bit more power that day.
My sweden kit is a 5-15g rod with a 2500 series. On the light side, but that allows me to have some fun with smaller fish.
Jag tror att 10-40n är ett bra mellanting den fiskar nog atom på 30ish alldeles utmärkt samt typ 12cm jiggar på en 10-15 skalle för gädda sen funkar den säkerligen utmärkt för lättare också. Rullen funkar också utmärkt hade inte kört större än 3000 för allround fiske 4000 är typ dedikerat gädd fiske
