Pls don’t roast my tank, I’m still learning! I want to make sure my guys home is safe and healthy for him, so please send any suggestions. I test the water weekly to ensure it’s all balanced. There’s also 2 snails in there with him, as well as a small live plant. All others are fake.

Hi, are you using strips to test or some thing like a API master liquid kit? Honestly the betta will be happy with live plants but what you have is ok for now. I assume you are going a fish in cycle, read about the nitrogen cycle. Many good posts on here. Prime is good. IF you go the life plant research what you need to keep them alive.

You should start by taking out all of those fake plants and putting some real ones instead is much healthier for him. Also if you want your plants to live you should change the rocks for some substrate and add sand over it. Maybe some floating plants as well. Maybe add some wood decoration.
hi im new here too. your little guy is so pretty, all the best! you have nice collection of games as well.
Plants plants plants! Check out r/aquaswap for some super cheap aquarist-owned stuff by you! EBay also has very trustable sources, as well as your LFS (local fish store).
