Is my man getting old? 🙁
This is George, but we call him Georgie. He’s my first ever betta and he had him almost a year now. He used to be vibrant blue (his sides were always bald) but recently he’s been turning full yellow while the blue is bleeding into the fins!
He has had bad genetics from the beginning but googling it it looks like he’s getting older. He’s got a small hunch, his scales aren’t as shiny or vibrant and neither is his tail. He’s still eating great, and enjoying his retirement in the 20 gallon, he moves great and isn’t lethargic but I’m just worried as he’s my baby 💔
I adopted him from Petco. If he is getting older I’m glad I got him in his new castle ❤️
