Paying 250 for a rod just for all the guides to not line up is super frustrating. They told me to email them a picture of the guides and they haven’t gotten back to me in 2 days. This is the 3rd rod I’ve gotten from st croix and the 3rd I’ve had to return. Extremely frustrated with this brand. Never had this issue with Daiwa or Dobyns. If anyone can recommend a good musky spinning rod please point me in the right direction. Throwing 3oz buck tails

I emailed them over a week ago and never heard back 🤷🏻♂️
I have a $270 Avid rod that is cracking pretty badly at the rod guides.
Im a full supporter of them. I broke a Seviin reel and asked for help out of warranty and they sent me a new one.
I returned a 30 year old rod last year and got a new one.
They do take time to start the process but they stand behind it. Calling them is quicker. The returns warranty department is like 5 people.
What do you expect, they’re mass produced in Mexico pr China.
St Croix are over rated anyways.
Diawa got a great rod.
Tica great rod
TFO unbelievable rod.
Any my personal favorite and my go to
Lamiglas and century.
Thats just me.
Don’t mean im right.
But thats my experience and preference
