When you’re spooling a spinning reel you have to apply even tension in order for that not to get wind knots once when you start applying even pressure when you’re reeling in your fresh line no matter what kind of fishing reel you have you won’t get kinks or knots when you get your line out of the water

Keeping the new spool tight when spinning on new line helps a lot. Mono tends to have some memory to it and stay in curls compared to braid, especially if it came with the reel and sat on the shelf before you got it.

Line is wrapped to loosely. Also are you using spinning lures without swivels. Like rooster tails and finally real looks like it doesn’t have enough line on ot and if what line is twisted and loosely wrapped you’re screwed

Don’t reel in slack line without tension

One thing to add here, if you are casting and retrieving a lot especially spinners, it’s important to have a swivel on your line to help prevent line twist.

Another suggestion, try using braid

The other comments are correct however it happens a lot more often if your line is twisted. Use a swivel when possible and never reel it when you here the drag spinning. Crying a spinning reel when the spool is turning too will twist up your line in a heartbeat.

Also to add, there’s a right way to have the spool when spooling your reel (label up vs label down if the spool is resting flat) due to the twist in the line. I’m not sure how much truth there is to it but I tend to believe it, you can look it up for yourself.
But most of your problem is probably just the lack of tension when you spooled it.

Looks like you use thick mono

Tighter wind right off the spool. =—-=
For monofilament, soak the freshly wound spool (remove from the reel first) in a glass of hot tap water for 2-3 minutes. This will release any twist. Good to go.
If you directly tie spinnerbaits, you may get line twist, use a swivel or swivelsnap.
