Hey everyone. I just received my new Feelfree kayak yesterday and took some photos of damage. Most is some scuffs and scratches along the rails, however there are some small cracks where the wheel bolts are in the back, and a couple of gashes under the front. How concerned should I be about these? I've emailed Feelfree about it, but haven't heard back yet.

    If you just bought that I wouldn’t accept that. I’d tell them you expect a new one

  2. Return that stat. I’d even go to a different kayak manufacturer instead, but I can be petty.

    Just don’t put that in the water

  3. I wouldn’t worry about minor scratches but the cracks near the wheel bolts are a dealbreaker since will likely worsen under load.

    I would request a replacement and tell them you aren’t doing a warranty claim since it was damaged upon arrival. I don’t do warranty claims on anything defective from day one; that’s on them to make it right

    I would get it replaced asap. I had a feel free moken for a while great kayak hope you get this resolved
