These are my own made spinner rigs, today i went out fishing. Had two carps who wanted the popups, but it didnt hook. Is something wrong with this rig setup? Or was it just causious carp?

There look just fine and will work in a lot of situations. One of my if not the favourite rig that savced me many blanks. And when a carp will come and pick it up he will get hooked so dont worry about smaller fish.

Might have been too small for the hook, also are the hooks new/sharpened?
