Hi, we were given this betta because the original owner cannot take care of him anymore. I was told green bettas are rare. If so, is this betta rare? Planning to move him to a 5 gal dedicated tank to keep him happy.

Where I am from, in Asia, it is a rare colour. I have only seen 1 green so far and I believe it was called Green Dragon or something like that.

Honestly I’ve looked at lots of Bettas in the United States and I can’t recall ever seeing a green one. Nice pet. He’s a beauty š„°
