This is Rambo, my Betta fish, he is nearly 5 months old, and since I brought him home about 2 months ago I noticed that awkward balloonish belly. Is it just his body shape, or should I treat it with something? He looks normal, active, eats, acts like a normal fish, but fat. Rambo lives in a 13g planted cube, with a bunch of shrimp and pygmy corys, temp is about 79-80

Much much is he eating?
has he been eating shrimp? i introduced two cherry shrimp in my planted tank and he unfortunately ate one of them while i was asleep (he is usually very calm and loves to watch the ghost shrimp he had, i guess the cherry shrimp looked tastier lol) but after i saw one missing i noticed he was fat too. have you noticed your shrimp population decreasing?
He looks bloated, maybe he should be fasted?
you could give him 1 single daphnia as a laxative
