I've been back into carp fishing after only doing saltwater the last 15 years or so. I've been fishing a local park lake but decided to drive up to Inanda, a big dam with some very good carp. Of course I chose a day where there was a weekend bass fishing competition so there were a lot of boats. 20 minutes after the last boat was out the water I got this really nice common carp. I'll definitely take it for a first visit.
