I have a penn battle iii, when out in the surf it suddenly had issues turning the handle. I can but I really have to crank it.
I took it apart no line is caught in it or damage to cog teeth.
When the handle is positioned like so and I hold it where it'd normally connect to the reel the same issue comes up. It also looks like it damaged where the handle screws in.
Any thoughts? It's a pretty new piece of kit
