Kinda funny story with this. We had some down time between training and the local fishing post gave us some line and hooks. I had no fishing pole so I caught this by throwing out the line over the cliff with my bare hands. Caught on a little crab I found as a bait.

Yep, that’s a sheephead. Darker coloration (black and red) indicates an adult male.
Those big ol’ teeth are also a sheephead indicator.
