Clown loaches are incredibly social, especially with fish that have similarities, like the body shape of the corydoras. I’ve also seen some who school with Tiger Barbs, because they both have stripes.

Those are two different Cories, though. Unless the panda Cory identified as an adolpho Cory and had species-affirming surgery….

The Coridora is not the same fish in the second picture. Both are very social.

it’s a big “it depends”, in general fish are pretty intelligent creatures, but not all are social creatures, and not all social fishes to humans, but yea there’s fishes that’s absolutely capable to form a friendship with humans like other animals did

Fish dors have long memory. The whole “3 sec memory” is nothing but a meme or myth.
However we cant definitely say fish has the cincept of friendship. It’s more like response to different survival situation.
For example you might see dither fish following a bit larger dither fish. It’s survival instinct. “If the bigger ones thinks it is safe to come out, then i should follow”. Similar tonthat sometimes fishes will have aquired tolerance in territories or established bounderies after long co existance. These are all ultimately survival mechanics but there’s nothing wrong with interpreting them as friendship.

Those aren’t the same species of fish in the first and second photo.
