Anyone here use medium heavy (MH Fast action) spinning rod set up?
Was looking at maybe also adding a 4000 Shimano Ultegra, or 4000 Nasci with a medium heavy – Fast Tatula XT spinning reel rod for 3/8 oz + range of lures (chatterbaits, crank baits, jerkbait) and heavier texas rigs, topwater frogs.
With my current medium spinning rigs (Tatula XT M-F + Fuego 3000 HG), Anything around 3/8oz range feels tip heavy vs my baitcasters
I also already own several bait casters (Curado MGL 151, Lews Mach 2) with medium heavy, and heavy casting rods that make me wonder if medium heavy spinning set up is redundant

I have a 7’ medium heavy fast action Shimano Clarus with a Shimano Stradic 4000 and it’s my favorite rod I’ve ever had. Fishes 3/8 ounce jig heads perfectly. Love using a 1/2 oz chatterbait with it as well
