I love them. They dance a lot, great colors, and they are always weaving thru the plants searching. I got mine from a local fish store and they were hardy. Best fish.

Nice nice but so inbred that lots of genetic issues now.

They died off within a couple months, each time i tried to get a tank going something went wrong, didn’t matter how seasoned the tank was, or how densely planted. They each got some saddleback like fungal problem one by one and would die.

We’ve had mixed luck, first group died within months, second group has been hardy as hell and we’ve had them with no issues for a couple of years now with no illnesses or losses.

A few from the first group I got didn’t make it, a few weeks later I got more from the same LFS and they all made it. I love them, they look like tiny trout.

I love them . They are hardy and easy to breed. At least for me. They are shy and definitely thrive in an only species tank with a lot of plants.

Love mine got from a local breeder going on 3 months now. Only downside is I didn’t realize how shy they would be compared to my other fish. currently in a 36 gallon cummunity tank. They mostly stick to swimming in the back with my tall plants. Wish I would have put them in a smaller tank just for them so I could admire them better with thier beautiful colors.

I love mine, but I got them from a bad source and so they were hit or miss on quality and health. Find the right source and they’re amazing fish
