Is this possible or is a crime against nature?
I have this knot joining the braided lines like at 25% of the spool 🧵, as i see it ( beginners opinion) is buried enough in the line but i have to ask you
-is this going to affect me in a way that I won’t be able to cast correctly ??
What would you suggest?
Also some youtuber said that braided line have to be really tense in order to spool it correctly and get the most of it?? – can someone confirm?
I’ll keep it unspooled until i read your suggestions , tips , opinion or roasts 🤣👍🏾 thank you all

Looks like the spool is full of you cut the knot. 🪢
I would just cut and only use one.
Your line threader might hinder this for casting or reeling.
Im a little confused by this post but I can say I reuse the same backing line on my baitcaster just to save time when respooling. I’ll take off most of the line until it’s just covering the spool then I’ll uni-knot fresh line on from there. The line right at the spool never sees sun or water so it stays fresh. As far as spooling it on I usually find some sort of method to support a pencil (usually books) and spool it that way. If my son is around I’ll have him hold it lol. As far as tightness Ive always just pinched the line with my finger and Thats always done me right.
