Posted about a month ago for some opinions on flipping rods and decided on the P5 Jungle Seven. Have it paired with the new Tatula Elite PF and 65lb Smackdown.

This rod is sick. Surprisingly, it’s not really a broom stick. The tip is actually pretty soft but has a ton of backbone. The soft tip and length makes placing baits really nice. Took it out yesterday in the kayak and the long rod wasn’t a hassle at all in it. Only got 1 on it so hasn’t been put through the paces quite yet (water was 49 where I’m at, shits cold). Also for a 8 foot rod, it weighs nothing.
