How does it compare to Suffix 832 or Powerpro for casting on a spinning rod?

Not great but better than spiderwire. 832 and PPv2 is the king (for the price)

I hate the stuff, way too waxy, holds more memory than mono, frayed within the first 20 hours of using it. I would rank it way below powerpro and 832, I use 832 as my main braid now, I have rods with powerpro, j-braid, and yozuri braid as well and all of them are miles better than fireline.

Better than most no-name stuff from Temu, but inferior to Sufix 832, PowerPro X8, JBraid, and other mid-tier braids.
Sufix 832 is probably the best blend of price vs performance vs availability. There are superior options available, but 832 is a very good braid that you can find in most stores, and it’s reasonably priced with a lot of different colors, weights, and lengths available.
Like Sufix and PowerPro (and most other braid marketed in the US, for that matter), the maker lies about the actual line test and thickness, so keep that in mind, as the actual breaking strength is often 2-3 *times* the claimed line test, and the actual thickness is generally much thicker than what is claimed.

In my experience, Berkley lures are top, Berkley line is below Kast King. I’ve tried 11 different brands/brand versions of flouro and Berkley was worse than Runcl, which is Amazon’s misspelling of something. Berkley is the only line I’ve broken on a cast. And I’ve done it 3 times with 3 different lots. And they were all within the first week of spooling. AVOID BERKLEY LINE.

Just get the Berkley X9. Never had issue with it.
