any idea where I could use these and what might want them? Never caught anything with them before so wondering how I might use them more strategically

Largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, and probably catfish

Whatever wants to bite it. It would be a good bait to use for bass, but any predatory fish might take that. Pike would probably love it.

Only thing I’ve ever caught with these has been weeds tbh. I don’t have many clear, non weedy bodies of water near me though. They’ll definitely catch fish if you can present it long enough without snagging weeds, though.

Yes I’ve actually caught some largemouth with those lure I prefer to use them in very clear water

The first bass I ever caught were on lures similar to this one, just without the treble hook. They had little slots in the side to create swimming tail action when you reeled it. I can’t seem to find those anywhere anymore.
