Those will all work for bass without a doubt. The petspoon should work trout, crappie, and perch. Pick up some rooster tails in 1/4 oz and that should appeal to all game fish and be easy to cast.
Hereās what I like to use for freshwater pond fishing and lake fishing. I use zoom trick worms on a 2/0 offset hook if Iām bank fishing. Usually a black or pink bubble gum color depending on what theyāre biting. Bass love trick works. I also throw rooster tails. I like the 1/8th oz black and gold. These are good for bream and crappie and believe it or not my dad caught a 7lb bass last year on an 1/8th oz rooster tailš. I also throw half oz spinner baits and buzz baits. You can always go smaller for finesse set ups. I throw 4 and 5 inch swimbaits with 3/8 to 1/2 oz jig heads and they catch big and medium bass and sometimes big crappie too. I donāt usually catfish unless Iām at the lake with friends and then we usually throw cut bait on a 6/0 circle hook with a 4oz lead weight separated by a swivel hook and leader. Some people use raw chicken mixed with cool aid or some people use live fish rigged the same way.
When I first started fishing I loved throwing crank baits and mirror lures but theyāre honestly not good in ponds with vegetation. All the exposed treble hooks catch everything and the action gets wonky. Lakes no problem tho. I also love throwing a half ounce spoon. I like the little Cleo silver color. The Johnson silver minnow is a good spoon too. And itās weedless so you can bounce it around the bottom for a slow retrieve. My fishin buddies talk shit about my spoons for some reason but they always catch fishš¤š»sometime more fish than themš¤£
I have friends who specifically target crappie and smaller panfish and those are super fun on light tackle and the smaller species have beautiful colors. I donāt really target those because I try not to carry much heat and Iām mainly a bass guy. But thatās something to look into also. Plus little fish are literally everywhere. My dad is an outside salesman for a glass company and when heās on the road calling on customers he brings an ultralight set up with him in the back seat. He loves catching trout in the streams up in basset Virginia before hitting the highway homeš
I live in southern NC if that makes a difference but all and all I think you got a good set upšš»
Those Yum Christie Craws are money. I use the camo color (one side green, other orange). Bass love it at my local pond. I Texas rig it on a 4/0 hook w a bullet weight.
