If I install it 1,2, rotor, then the reel makes a bad bearing noise. But I’m pretty sure that’s the order I took them apart, and I think that’s what the schematic shows.
If I install them 1, rotor, 2, then the bearing noise goes away but the spool and rotor are pretty wiggly.
I found this reel thrifting and it was all gummed up, so who knows if it’s missing something or was reassembled wrong. Is there supposed to be a spacer between the main gear/bearing and the left side plate? The right side plate only had a plastic bushing, no bearing. It just feels like it is missing shims or something to tighten up some slop all over.
Also, 3,4,5 do they have an orientation? The bearing (3) has an open and closed side. The clutch sleeve (4) has a keyed side and a round side, and the bearing bushing (5) has an open and a closed side. They can all be installed both ways, but I don’t know what the correct way is.
