saw this amazing betta today! i’ve never seen one like it. do you think it will become completely black over time though? i know it’s hard to know but wondering if anyone has seen a similar one! the tail is pinker in person too!

It’s probably going to gain more pink/red color and i doubt it’d become full black. The white scales on its body are probably going to stay mostly white
If its got a marble gene its color could shift significantly throughout its life, but thats always a chance.
I think it’ll be fairly speckled after its glo-up after the switch to a tank, maybe with some pretty cellophane-ish fins
