For some reason it didn’t save my text with the image, but is this a stocked or wild rainbow? The stocked section is way further down from where it was caught and stocking was over a month ago now. I’m fishing a fly fishing only section of a natural production stream in western PA.
So my question is, is this a tiny stocked trout that made its way up to the natural reproduction section, or is it a wild one? What’s the best way to tell? I’m still fairly new to fly fishing
