Going for bass. Thinking 7’ MH Fast as per most people’s recs. $150 budget if it’s really worth it, otherwise would like to stay under $100 for right now.

Falcon Lowrider All Around/Fast is my go to rod for most applications in this price range.
The SLX rod pairs well with this reel as well.
Level’s Rake series would be my next option, their NGX line is insanely good for $170 and the Rake hits well above its $99 price point.
