Used the advice everyone left on my original post about the Ned rig when it came to having it flush with the mushroom head and pinching the zman worm over the hook at the top. Thank you everyone, it helped so much! My follow up is this, are these good enough/straight enough? They all stand straight up when I drop them in a cup of water, just don’t know how perfect and straight the worm has to be to for efficiency.

I have no issue putting legit any other soft plastic on a normal jighead, but for some reason these zman are such a pain to get straight and perfect.

Please let me know thoughts and advice, once again thank you to everyone who’s been helping me.

Starting at the top of the image going downward, 3 and 4 are good. The others will cause some spinning when you reel in to recast. #4 might spin slightly.

me and my work apprentice caught a couple mondo largemouth on our lunch hour last friday with some green pumpkin trick worms that have the same coloration as yours
