Betta Fish: First planted tank-need some advice. 🐟

Hey all! This is my first planted tank and it’s been cycling for about 6 weeks now. I have some ramshorn snails in there and I think I’m ready for my betta. The water parameters are on point and everything looks healthy.

2 questions:

1. I have a very nice local aquarium store right about the corner. They are super helpful and have a great reputation, but all their bettas look kinda pale and sad. Should I support the local place or get my new family member online?

2. I’m kinda confused at what types of food/treats I should get my new betta. And how often to feed. Anyone have recommendations?
