Can’t wait to try these suckers out this summer.

Been hearing all sorts of things on the “urchin, dice” style bait. Hopefully they will last more than just 2-3 fish without ripping, but we all know how that is with Yamamoto products…

How would you guys rig this up?? Wacky or with a treble??

Or, hear me out, take the thickest worms you can find and cut into 3/4” long sections, you’ll get 6 of these sections from each worm. Then take spinnerbait skirt material and a needle and make your own. You’ll get dozens of them for a fraction of the price of one of these, and, in the end, the bass won’t give a damn.

The strikeking version comes in multipacks, uses less packaging, lasts for more then 2-3 fish, and is half the price, just fyi.

Let us know how well this thing performs!

I got 20 of these coming for $11. Temu baby. We’ll see how they do.

Most Yamamoto baits have a very high salt content so that they are weighted and have that perfect action on the fall, but the more salt in the plastic the less durable the plastic is. This bait is not going to have any salt because they are meant to be buoyant and made of a different plastic so they are a lot more durable.
I’ve had a ton of luck on these style baits on a drop shot but mainly with 2 nails weights in em and a wacky rig hook

  5. Yes. I just paid for same day shipping even to make sure they arrive before tomorrow

  6. A local guy at one of our monthly town festivals had a fishing lure stand and was making these, selling 2 for $8. Said he specifically didnt want to bend people over on price. Theyre super durable and well made..

When i got home i took a screw lock and embedded it and ran a neko hook down into it through the metal loop and I dont expect that bad boy to go anywhere.

They are so many options for that style bait right now at cheaper prices. As a bait maker these are difficult to make which paired with them being the flavor of the month I can understand why they cost this much..

I’ll add I’ve been using them all spring in the south and fish are coming way off of beds to smash these things.

  8. Buy the cheap stuff from China, or the Z Man fuzzy nuggets are similar, a little smaller size but you can get em 4 for $10 full price. Not cheap but this profile has awesome action in the water and they work great.

15 dollars for a whole box or just one lol

I fish those all the time and they work well

I get them for like idk 4 for 12 bucks? Kinda pricey but I don’t care

You can very very easily make these. Take a chunk off a senko or whatever bait you want and grab some jig skirts from Bezos or Cabela’s and a sowing needle. Just thread some of the individual strands from the skirt into the bait and there ya go.

  11. Everyone is throwing those now, I feel the bass in my area won’t even bite them anymore😂. I started to catch them on a senko now of all things.

  12. Think about how much room those boxes take up compared to a pack of senkos.

Doesn’t make sense for them to sell them for much less than that. Can’t ship or stock enough for it to make sense
