I started a new job recently and my boss has quite a few animals around the store. It seems like they are mostly used for attraction and not actually kept well as pets. I feel like this isn’t the best set up for 3 gold fish but I don’t know much about them so here I am asking Reddit lol is this fountain a decent place to keep these fish or should they be in a bigger and less stressful environment? Any tips on how I should get my boss to improve the set up if it’s bad would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Looks like a tiny area for 3 gold fish, I say it’s shit.
That’s way too small for those fish

No
absolutely not. way too small.
As a new employee you should absolutely bring this up to him. Make a big deal about while you’re at it.
Thats like putting an elephant in a 1 room apartment 🫣
Hey guys, not surprised by a lot of the replies..I had a feeling the fountain was too small. My boss said “they’ll grow to the size of the tank” but that didn’t feel right either. What size tank do you guys recommend? I’ll do some research on my own to see what I can get ( if my boss allows me to help)
One dillweed in the comments is going crazy about me potentially getting fired. If I get fired for raising concerns about how the animals are kept then fuck it. I have 2 other jobs.
Those fish will be 8 to 15 inches long as adults if they don’t die from the terrible conditions first, which they will.
Way too small…
How many gallons is it? It’s very hard to tell from just the photo.
