Does anyone use a sous vide to heat up their water. I don't use my water heater because of sodium levels and I find this a convenient way to get my water to temperature. My only complaint is there isn't a low enough setting so you just have to watch it.

I don’t even sous vide my food those things are for amateurs.
I use an old aquarium heater
I have an instant read meat thermometer. I just stick it in the bucket as I’m filling up and adjust the temp accordingly. To me that seems so much easier than using a sous vide… if you have sous vide you must have a meat thermometer.
Smart.
Why heat up water? Discus?
LOL i did this when i just filled my new aquarium, I was like this is going to take far too long to get up to temp, the fish were in a bucket with aeration, but wanted to get things going.
Worked great
