Hi! I always watch this channel and really enjoy all the stories, photos, and videos posted here—almost all of them from the US.

This weekend I went fishing here in Spain 🇪🇸, so here are some photos of the bass from the other side of the ocean.

Our bass aren’t as big as those in the US, but they’re not bad-sized either—the national record is 8.8 pounds, and my PB is 6.195 pounds.

Around here, catches up to 2 pounds are very common, 4-pounders are less common, and anything over 5 pounds is exceptional… landing a 6.5-pound bass or bigger is very, very difficult, but they do exist.

I hope you enjoy hearing from Spain; we follow all your updates on gear and fishing techniques very closely here.

I hope to fish in the US someday!!
