Need a rod reel recommendation that doesn’t have this issue

This has happened 2 different times with 2 different reels. The cheap pin comes off and the rod handle falls apart. Happened to me on a $80 ugly stix. Which shouldn’t be a problem for an $80 rod I think?

Can you guys recommend a rod/reel that won’t have this issue. Preferably under $100 please. This picture is of a super cheap rod reel combo and I want to buy a better one.
