This tank won’t stop giving me issues.
The first pic is about 2-3 weeks ago when after about two weeks of planting the tank. I thought it was cycled so I added livestock, but then had a large ammonia spike so there is no more livestock.
The Christmas moss turned super green after a week or so (first pic) but after about 3 more weeks it’s turning brownish?
This tank has had ammonia for about the whole 2-3 weeks now ranging from 2-4ppm. Can’t seem to figure out this cycle and why it won’t turn to nitrite.
I am thinking the moss turning brown is either because of ammonia or too much / too high light.
I am a beginner when it comes to planted tanks so any advice helps!!
(Don’t pay attention to the melting Monte Carlo it’s transitioning and growing rapidly now)
