Picked up this guy from the local big box store. He'd bitten off part of his tail, and the awesome employee gave me quite a discount for taking him (after suggesting I get one somewhere better) but I felt committed to trying to find a sad one instead of going to our local fancy, wonderful betta supplier (where we get all our supplies!) Anyway. He was $2.50 and I hope I can make his life better. 💙

Other than salt and tannins, any other suggestions on how to help that chunk of tail grow back?

    What a beauty 😍

You did so well! I am sure he will love it there <3

Tannins, pristine water parameters & some high quality food like frozen Daphne is all he needs. You are doing amazing, thank you for saving him.
