Im very beginner. Went fishing for couple of times, my friends dragged me at first, but i got " hooked" !

The problem is, my friends don't really know what gear, technique, spots, what time is the current, how to cast far, what baits to use.. many of them are fishing for years..but they never did research..they never bought any gear because " it's good" ..they bought whatever they found cheap on marketplace. Most od them have 5-10 rods and reels, and i realized, they use 4meter 150-200g rod for " spinning 30g lures" ..

I am kind of geek.. i do research for months before any serious purchace. I started ( my first day) with FX setup for 50€ .. cheapest line, reel, rod , that local shop recommended for me..but i realized, that's a toy the first minutes of fishing. I fought the gear more than fish.

I upgraded to Nexave 7-21g , and nasci reel . ( Cheapest usable setup that i took as tutorial for shaula+ stella, that i want for next season) The difference between FX and this setup is another universe.

My goal is to have just one rod. One reel.. one setup that can " do it all" in Iceland and Europe .. ( beside ultra light and ultra heavy fishing)..i take fishing as a sport, unlike my friends that throw whatever to the water and wait for a fish to accidentaly eat it.

Is shaula 2833 10-50g , stella fk 5000 xg the best " all purpose" setup ? Or i can find something similiar for half of the price and this is an overkill for me ? ( I want one setup for life , for any situations, to master one perfect tool) .
