I have had this 20gal tank running since September 23rd. I upgraded so both of my filters were from my previous 10gal cycled tank. My tank is reading from 0.25-1 ammonia constantly. I’ve done water changes literally everyday and I don’t understand what’s going on. I’ve done multiple tanks the same way and never had this issue. My tap water does have ammonia in it so I was thinking that’s part of the problem but I have always used my tap. I’m so over it. My ph is 6. Nitrate 0 & nitrite 0. I use seachem prime & stability. I don’t know what to do.

My ammonia is ALWAYS reading at 0.25 no matter what. I well know the feeling of being over it….
I’m assuming you condition your water. If nothing you do helps, then maybe just call it a lost cause? I suppose adding more plants could help or make it stay the same
