Anyone else think that this EPDL is overpriced? $2500 just for an attachment is crazy, like 800 bucks maybe would be about right.

they’ll get the folks eager to purchase this right before the spring season really heats up, it’ll go down in price eventually. I’m honestly shocked we haven’t had an upgrade with the Minn Kota on the AP 120/136 yet.

I don’t understand the hate. It’s $2500 for a pedal drive, motor and battery, in one unit.
Seems pretty fair to me.
Yes the battery is small, but it’s a great option to upgrade a kayak that you already own vs buying a $5500 epdl kayak.
I would like to think that it will come down in price, but the truth is, is probably just not going to get more expensive in the next few months as everything else does.

I’m debating buying that vs buying a nk180. Not sure which would be faster on my 106 pdl. Love pedaling but it’s nice to get off the water faster when needed.
