I recently bought a Daiwa 26 Freams LT 4000-CP reel, and the spool, in addition to the normal drag noise, is making a strange grinding sound. You can hear it clearly in the attached video (turn up the volume). I'm wondering if your Daiwa 26 Freams LT reels make this noise too?

not the freams but i have a new tsurinoya kingfisher that sounds the same. i’m sure it doesn’t actually affect performance and it’s just the audible drag clicker making that sound. as when i remove the pin the sound stops. shouldn’t affect performance and i haven’t heard it in use so i think you’re good to go.
